Our Softwashing service is an effective and durable way to clean and help protect and beautify your property. Soft wash is a relatively recent term in the U.K. to describe chemical cleaning as opposed to the more mainstream service of pressure washing but we have been involved in the cleaning of buildings for over 20 years, since long before the term soft washing reached these shores from the U.S. and the two services are not mutually exclusive with the best results are often achieved using a combination of soft washing and other cleaning systems. This is where our knowledge and experience of all exterior cleaning systems including Softwashing, pressure washing and steam cleaning and our experience with soft wash chemicals combine to give you the best possible softwash results.

Softwashing is generally considered a gentler way to clean a building especially on delicate surfaces such as K-Rend render and other modern acrylic and cementitious renders and roughcast. we have a number of different chemicals for Softwashing surfaces that are effective against algae, lichen, moss, moulds (including whisky mould, baudoinia compniacensis )and bacteria that can all lead to discolouration and damage to surfaces such as roofs, walls, render, roughcast, cladding, natural stone, paths, patios etc.

Some chemicals for soft washing can give instant results whilst some softwash chemicals kill the growths instantly but take time to weather away. Softwashing is performed utilizing a number of chemicals including Biocides such as quaternary ammonium compounds, so we are often able to offer a number of options including environmentally friendly and biodegradable products. We are trained and experienced in the handling and use of softwash cleaning chemicals and We are equipped with modern soft wash equipment, chemical mixing and application systems enabling us to effectively and safely soft wash all suitable surfaces.
